 Title                            :  Infrastructure Project Manager

Location                   :  NYC

Start Date                 :  ASAP

Duration                    :  6+ months

 Responsible for managing the day-to-day service delivery for specific 
infrastructure based services for the US field force.  Works directly with 
external vendors and internal providers to ensure seamless delivery that meets 
business needs in line with internal service agreements and contractual 
obligations. Rigorously manages performance and operational risks.

 Key Responsibilities:

 .               Overseeing of key USP infrastructure services such as field 
force server hosting, network services service, field force end user services 
(i.e. hardware configuration, deployment and support service including asset 
management) and WTI infrastructure services

.               Provides the day-to-day single point of contact for the service 
provider (external vendor/ internal provider) and develops strong working 
relationships with service providers 

.               Drives service delivery cost reductions while 
maintaining/improving service delivery

.               Defines Service Level metrics and objectives based on feedback 
from end-users, TM Client Partners, and Sales Operations Business Relationship 
Managers   

.               Works with service provider (internal/external) to drive the 
collection of baseline service delivery metrics data, conducts analysis and 
utilizes results to ensure service levels are achieved

.               Works with the service provider (internal/external) to ensure 
service levels are understood and implemented 

.               Manages the delivery of an infrastructure service by the 
service provider (external vendor/ internal provider) against agreed SLAs and 
business needs

.               Analyzes service delivery reporting received from the vendor 
and internal providers and uses this information to support recommendations for 
service improvement and feedback to the service provider working with the 
Contract Manager as appropriate

.               Identifies vendor and internal provider opportunities for 
service improvement, innovation and cost management

.               Communicates concerns with service delivery, opportunities for 
synergy and portfolio reduction to the TM Client Partners and Sales Operations 
Business Relationship Manager

.               Provides the single point of escalation for the specific 
infrastructure service he/she is responsible for providing oversight of and 
brings to resolution issues/problems working with appropriate interfaces 
(vendor/ internal provider)

.               Identifies, prioritizes and implements cost-effective options 
for service support and maintenance including the use of vendors

.               Provides infrastructure subject matter expertise on innovations 
and trends to Solution Delivery as appropriate in support of infrastructure 
solution development 

.               Ability to manage applications through the implementation 
lifecycle ensuring each application meets the required specifications

.               Ability to provide Services Delivery ELC support to TM Client 
Partners and Project Managers

.               Key Metrics include: Services delivery cost reduction, improved 
service delivery metrics at same cost, business customer satisfaction, 
definition and implementation of service levels, improvements in service 
levels, service delivery governance effectiveness, and problem/incident 
resolution metrics.

 Education: 

Preferred Education: BS, MBA 

Preferred Discipline(s): Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering 

 Prior Experience Preferred: 

10+ years of industry experience (Information Technology, Pharmacuetical) and 
5+ years of Infrastructure and FF Services management experience

 Key Capabilities:  

 -               Expert USP Field Force hardware service knowledge, with 
experience in managing integrated end-to-end hardware / software deployment

 -               Industry hardware asset management experience - asset 
commissioning, support, distribution, disposal and inventory management

 -               Expert USP Field Force server hosting environment knowledge, 
with experience in managing a full hosting service for a variety of production, 
test and development servers

 -               Industry data center experience and data center operations

 -               Experienced in program and project management through the full 
project life cycle

 -               Proven ability to collaborate with IT and business colleagues, 
as well as external vendors

 -               Negotiating, implementing and monitoring SLA agreements

 -               Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure innovations and 
overall best practices

 -               Proven ability to actively manage problems, identify root 
causes, manage incidents, interpret complex information as it relates to 
infrastructure support and maintenance
