Test Specialist: BCBSM Requisition Location: New Hudson, MI Duration: 5+ months *Description/Required Skills:* - The candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work with little supervision. - Analyze business requirements and technical specification documents to develop the test cases and scenarios. - Identify and gather test data. - Log test results/defects and perform test results analysis. - Verify test results. - Report daily status to test lead. *Basic understanding:* - Has a basic understanding of testing methodology. *Working experience:* - 5-6 years of application testing experience. - Has Experience testing Java Applications. - Has Experience with database structures. - Has experience setting up and testing new or old batch programs, JCL and PROCS. - Has reviewed, documented and organized test results and defects. *Extensive experience:* - The QA Tester must have experience creating automated scripts for regression testing and performance testing. - The Tester must have extensive experience writing SQL queries. *Subject matter depth and breadth:* - Healthcare experience.
