Title: Sr. Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Washington DC
Duration: 6 months
Sr. Infrastructure Engineer
Tasks:
1.. Develop an infrastructure strategy that will support the creation of a
parallel production mirror environment and its associated requirements.
2.. Provide daily technical support for the new environment.
3.. Analyze and recommend improvements to support Environment Management and
Configuration Management process initiatives.
4.. Support FTE SME's in maintaining current environment and infrastructure.
5.. Create all necessary documents and communicate to the team in support of
the project.
6.. Conduct training and knowledge transfer on new parallel mirror with FTEs.
General Required Skills:
1.. The internal drive, intellectual curiosity, ability to learn, and desire
to help the customers succeed
2.. Strong technical skills
3.. Comfortable working under Project Manager supervision
4.. Ability to work proactively
Specific Required Skills:
1.. Infrastructure engineer with a minimum of 10 years' experience with:
1.. Experience building robust parallel test environments
2.. Environment Infrastructure Build and Automation
3.. Database Mirroring experience
4.. Extensive SDLC experience
2.. Mid-tier/mainframe platforms and their associated Operation Systems and
Tools including:
1.. WebSphere MQ / MQ Series
2.. DB2 UDB
3.. UNIX
4.. AIX
5.. REXX
Additional Specific Skill sets Sought:
1.. Enterprise Service Bus
2.. Business Rules Engines
3.. SOA
4.. Java
5.. Serena Tools Suite
6.. AB Initio/ETL Development
