*Job Description:* DEVELOPMENT:
The candidate will assure the quality of Data warehouse reports and files
and provide vital reconciliation to production for the GSA SmartPay1 to
SmartPay2 conversion. The candidate will provide quality assurance to new
functions and releases to ensure the highest degree of customer
satisfaction.

OVERVIEW:
The Qualtiy Assurance Analyst will use develop knowledge of the GDR, CCAS
and CCRS applications and will ensure the integrity of the applications
during sp1 to sp2 conversion. The QA analyst will ensure client satisfaction
and rapid identification of quality issues that arise.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test GDR files to ensure smooth sp2 transition
Test CCAS and CCRS Business intelligence applications to ensure results
security filters are applied on the converted hierarchies with 100%
consistent results.
Identify any quality issues that arise
Reconcile production and test files during testing of conversion, new dbms
release and new functional releases
Escalate issues as appropriate
Identify any quality issues that result from replatforming to new versions
Test new functions and releases to ensure accurate results
Escalate any redundant quality issues and escalate resolution
Deliver solutions in accordance with defined release targets.
Participate in performance optimization and continuous improvement efforts.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

. Successful delivery of SmartPay2 to incumbent and new Government agencies
with High Quality
. Reconciled parallel testing results
. Early recognition of quality issues to avoid production issues during
quality assurance.
. Defect free releases, with Quality approaching 6 sigma
. Identification of Process enhancements for continuous improvement
. Identification of tuning activities for continuous improvement
. High client satisfaction
. High availability, reliability and serviceability of GDR, CCAS and CCRS


KEY CHALLENGES
The GDR, CCAS and CCRS applications contain proprietary code that is not
fully documented
