Develop or coordinate detailed and standardized architecture, engineering and configuration documentation for the entire network environment . Create/update an official repository for all current network architecture, engineering and configuration documentation . Manage and enforce the real-time updates to all network documentation (no changes go live without the documentation updates, part of change control approval process) . Coordinate access to the official network documentation repository for Network and NOC team members . Manage VLAN, IP addressing and other network configuration information repositories and enforce real-time standardize updates by all Network team members. . Manage Cisco SmartNet service contract and vendor relationship . Manage service and circuit provider contract and vendor relationship . Provide vendor management for other WAN and Internet access providers . Manage cable plant standards and service coordination with service providers . Vendor management for other products and services not identified . Identify and provide full operational knowledge transfer to a network team member backup resource . Develop documentation and knowledge transfer process so that all responsibilities and daily activities can be performed by a designated backup and transferred to other team members and management as required (prevent single point of control without operational backups, transfer process and technical/operational management oversight) .
