This is my direct client opening for *Software Development Engineer - Palo Alto, CA*. This is a 7+ month's contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. Candidates need to interview in person and should be in the CA area. ***Responsibilities include:* • Take a leading role in the design of some significant aspects of the PMX platform. You will be working with architects and will turn the concepts into robust designs and implementations; • Implement major components of the Premium Mobile experience and lead the integration of those components into the product; • Work with multiple groups within the company, and potentially outside the company, to provide the appropriate blend of experience, robustness and time to market; • Work with the QA and Operation teams to ensure that all deliverables are not only meeting the highest quality but are also meeting manageability requirements; • Test and document all work. *Qualifications:* • A total of at *least 8 years of experience* in the industry developing large-scale services; • BS in Computer Science preferred; • Extensive *programming or scripting *experience in *C# and Java* a plus; • Experience with high level design and development of large scale system such as carrier infrastructure; • Ability to clearly present ideas and explain complicated concepts at multiple levels of detail; • A passion for quality and attention to details; • Experience with *middleware especially Message Oriented Middleware*.
