This position is a lead AIX Unix engineer responsible for designing, upgrading, and assisting the service organization on the implementation and management of the enterprise IBM AIX Unix environment. IBM Power6, AIX 5.3, IBM Virtualization in (Virtual I/O servers, Shared Ethernet Adapters, Virtual SCSI), HACMP Building LPARs and Clusters, Creating Engineering and Installation Documentation. Experience engineering environments for AIX 5.3 - 6.1 Experience supporting both medium (p550/570) and large (p595) pSeries systems. Power 5, 5+ and Power6 platforms. AIX performance and tuning exposure and experience is a plus. AIX HACMP hands-on exposure and experience pSeries LPAR/DLPAR definition hands-on exposure and experience required experience with pSeries and AIX in an EMC SAN environment strongly preferred Unix * 5 yrs Candidate must be an above average communicator, have good documentation skills, well organized, and highly articulate.
