Oracle DW project Lead (PMP Certification preferred) Chicago, IL 12+ months Job Description: >From the client: OUTLINE OF THE BELOW REQ: This person will be support/lead a team of 4 programmer Analysts on Oracle HR Solutions. I need some one who has extensively worked on PL/SQL, STORED PROCEDURES, DATA STORE, Websphere TX. As this is s a lead position, need some with extensive experience within the field of BUSINESS ANALYSIS, PROJECT MANAGEMENT. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN FOR THOSE WHO HAD WORKED ON ORACLE HR IMPLEMENTATIONS AND WEBSPHERE TX (Mercator) IN ATLEAST 2 PREVIOUS PROJECTS. Note from the Hiring Manager:- Oracle project lead: Describe the project/role description and skills required: This individual will work as a Project Lead for a team of 4 Sr. Programmer Analysts in the HR Solutions area. Primary responsibilities include estimating, planning, follow up and reporting on activities to ensure successful completion of projects, enhancements, reverse demand and support. The HR Solutions team maintains an Oracle HR Operational Data Store and Warehouse. There are many processes, data extracts and reporting generated from the HR ODS and this individual would be responsible for managing the associated work. This includes gathering requirements, assigning work to the appropriate team member, and negotiation on delivery date with requestor (if needed).Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Prefer PMP or experience in a project lead/project management role. Preference would be for an individual that came up through a technical/developer role with skills in Oracle databases, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and business analysis. Must be able to multitask as much of our work is smaller projects, enhancements, support of cyclical processes, and updates to infrastructure. Familiarity with Websphere TX (Mercator) is also a plus.
