PLEASE CHECK THE REQUIREMENT WITH YOUR CONSULTANTS BEFORE SUBMITTING THE RESUME….. *Duration: 6 months* *Location: Grapevine, TX* *No rate yet, I will let you know when I find out, for now just send your best rate* Must need last 5 Digits of SSN# and DOB *UNIX Admin* Job Requirements • UNIX administrator managing a large heterogeneous environment with Enterprise class servers providing mission critical services. • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability analyses for emerging technologies in large scale UNIX environments. • Excellent troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem determination/resolution skills • Develops UNIX shell scripts for customizations, automation of recursive processes and streamlining system administration tasks. • Responsible for performance tuning, customization, and maintenance of J2EE applications and Application Server components. • Performs project management determining dependencies, timelines, and resources needed to design, test, and implement java based web-mail solutions • Knowledge of setup and configuration of Solaris 9/10 Jumpstart archives and RCS/CVS revision control configuration scripts • Designs and supports Solaris zone-based (virtualization) solutions to better utilize system resources and maximize efficiency. • Uses/sets up Veritas in an enterprise environment. • Sets up and performs data backups, data replication, and develops disaster recovery procedures • Develops procedures through interaction with management, internal and external consultants, and other vendor representatives, to provide efficient operations in the setup and maintenance of messaging servers. • Developing action plans for the implementation, upgrade, or release of new services within a messaging environment.
