Oracle (PL/SQL) Developer with Informatica Experience Loc: Boston, MA Duration: Till Jan 2010 Responsibilities: The Oracle (PL/SQL) Developer w Strong Informatica/ ETL will participate in the full lifecycle of application / database development including analysis, design, and development of a next generation data warehouse and reporting platform for a leading Investment Bank. Candidate Qualifications: * 5-8 years of experience with enterprise-level relational databases, advanced Oracle PL/SQL development skills with Oracle 9i or 10g PL/SQL development. * Applicant should have 2-3 years experience in Informatica development environment and should be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of ETL. * Distributed architecture concepts and development techniques is desirable. * Must be able to demonstrate significant expertise in designing database-driven applications in an enterprise environment utilizing the full set of Oracle 9i and 10g capabilities. * Must understanding of full lifecycle of database development and management. * Demonstrable track record of success, excellent team-oriented skills, and self-starter and agility traits * Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica is a MUST. * Exp w/ COGNOS Reports is A MUST Integration Experience: Must be familiar with data integration concepts and patterns. Business Knowledge: Working understanding in one of the following areas is desirable: Portfolio Management, Brokerage Operations, Performance Measurement and/or Portfolio Attribution, Reference Data Management. Project Experience: Must have at least 2 years of experience on large scale systems integration projects. Communication Skills: Must have excellent oral and written skills being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level. In addition, must exhibit strong team building and interpersonal skills.
