Please share the suitable resumes. *Title: Support analyst / System Admin* *Location: * *Cambridge, MA.* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Description:* -- This person will be part of an application support team that supports several applications used by the Regulatory Operations Department of Biogen Idec. *Key Responsibilities:* -- Analyzing and troubleshooting problems encountered by users of regulated content management applications. -- Installing and testing application patches and customizations across all applications. -- Coordinating with different functional teams to investigate performance issues; determine root cause, devise remediation plan and define implementation plan. -- Creating required documentation for application installation, upgrades, technical support and end user support, policies and procedures. -- Following required procedures to coordinate with other IT groups for issue resolution and remediation in the application production environment. -- Following all established SOPs, change control procedures and communications processes for both IT and business functions as applicable. -- Providing technical assistance as needed to analysts supporting related applications. *Technical Requirements:* -- Familiarity with Documentum, Oracle, and SQL. Nice to have familiarity with SharePoint, Java, C#, Liquent Insight and Alfresco. -- Experiences with various Unix and Linux operating system versions and proficiency in various scripting languages. -- Sufficient knowledge of IIS, Apache, Web Services, Active Directory, Group Policies, File/Share Security, and Networks to effectively troubleshoot application operations and performance issues. -- Excellent communications and customer service skills. -- Proven troubleshooting and decision making skills. *Experience:* -- 1+ years in a customer support role. -- 1+ years working in a pharmaceutical R & D organization, CRO or FSP. -- 3+ years as a systems administrator, consultant or technical support analyst. *Other Requirements:* -- Preference for working in a collaborative, team environment. -- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. -- Demonstrated ability to establish and meet priorities and deadlines. -- English as a first language or excellent written and spoken English fluency. -- Sense of humor. *Education:* -- BS degree is required.
