WebSphere Architect Location - Charlotte, NC Duration - 6- 12 months Prior Financial experience is a Must Job Description: Perfect candidate would be heavy in Websphere and Java. Websphere Architect - Analyze and understand user requirements, design solutions for those requirements and write specifications - Design applications using Java (design, programming, implementation and unit testing) - Participate in code reviews - Provide accurate estimates of assigned task effort for inclusion in project planning - Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software - Share knowledge and information on new technologies with the other team members WebSphere * Proficient in the administration of Websphere Application Server ND versions 6.1. * Highly proficient with Unix variant operating systems. (AIX, Solaris, Linux) * Proficient in administration of IBM IHS and SunOne web server on Solaris. * Ability to evaluate, install, test, configure, maintain, monitor performance of and troubleshoot WebSphere applications. * A good understanding of concepts related to web server load balancing and other application scaling concepts. * Strong Unix systems administration experience.(Solaris, Linux, AIX) * Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills.(Unix, Networking, DMZ, Firewalls, J2EE, Web and Application Servers) * UNIX scripting skills.
