Need experience in O&M in configuring VMWare and Linux environments. Description below · Experience in creating managing and supporting all user accounts, group accounts and system accounts in a LINUX environment. · Experience with implementing security requirements for server applications, files systems and operating systems in a LINUX environment. · Extensive experience with system backups and recovery and also Disaster recovery on both LINUX as · well as Windows based platforms. · Deep knowledge in LINUX Internals, Autosys, SQL, ETL, Perl, UNIX shell scripting, Java, debugging, error handling. Support for administration, .NET, Outlook Administration, Knowledge of Java, and Python. · Performed extensive engineering level work on VMware ESX 4 and VMware ESXi 4. · Installed and Configured VMware VCenter Server 4.0/5.0 · Experience with Installing patches and updates on Linux based platforms as well as Windows. · Involved in implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, open source software, applications etc. · Well-versed in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle,Experienced in Iterative Process and Waterfall SDLC methodology. · Experience in System Integration, Systems Design & Network Administration, IT Assessment, Feasibility Assessment, Client / Server application maintenance. · Installed Apache and made configuration changes in httpd conf for loading mod_jk module to establish communication with JBoss application server. · Specialized knowledge in reading and analyzing trace logs, java cores, verbose GC logs, heap, core dumps and other system logs. · Configured clusters, load-balancing and failover solutions. · Experience in management of user profile and groups using IdentityMinder web edition. · Proficient in written and oral communication.
