*Note : Must Be Local To CO Only..**....!!!!!!!* *Jobtitle : QA Analyst/TesterLocation : Greenwood Village, CODuration : 6+ Months Contract* *Rate : 35/Hr On C2C/1099* *Duties & Responsibilities* Independently conducts quality assurance testing and analysis on any size or scope of projects to ensure that the applications systems function properly and according to business standards and end-user specifications and requirements. Can handle multiple testing projects simultaneously and quickly adapts to testing new applications. Participates and leads other quality assurance associates in quality assurance testing and analysis on more complex or large projects to ensure that the applications system functions properly and according to business requirements and end-user requirements. Participates in walkthrough meetings on the development of, or changes within software application systems. Understands the full nature of the software application system including its purpose, parameters, and perceived capabilities and develops test plans, conditions, and cases used in testing based on business requirements, technical specifications and/or product knowledge to ensure they function properly. Gives specific, constructive feedback to other testers formally (as part of mid-year or annual reviews) and informally during project testing. Clearly communicates testing and project status to upper management. Leads the work of others in understanding and completing work assignments. Attends training classes to improve testing and business systems skills. Acts as an advisor on the technical issues when testing the application software system, as well as handles project management and resolves testing issues for projects. Promotes cooperation, negotiation and communication among and within teams. Tests on a variety of platforms. Effectively documents any problems resulting from the testing of software application systems. Ensures that all problems are communicated to all members of the project team including programmers, project analysts, and/or quality assurance analysts. Provides further documentation to note when problems were resolved. Re-tests original problems to ensure their resolution. Provides further documentation to note when problems were resolved or if others were discovered. Complies with, communicates, and enforces standards wherever applicable in all assignments. Identifies and shares process improvement suggestions and regularly participates in process improvement activities. Proactively assesses and follows through on testing risks and issues on projects. Performs any administrative duties as required by position. Maintains awareness of the financial impact on the department regarding process improvements, testing efficiency, etc. Develops, designs and implements process improvements and testing efficiencies that have a positive financial impact for Trans Union. *Qualifications* The duties and responsibilities described above are the essential functions of the job. Experience writing and executing formal test scripts Experience writing automated test scripts using Selenium – preferably on the C#/.NET platform Experience working in an agile environment Knowledge of web services and how to test services directly using XML messages Understanding of relational databases and how to write SQL queries Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, general Management Information Systems, or related field, or a combination of work in a general business environment and educational experience that demonstrates work associated with independently testing of all application systems Incumbents should be very knowledgeable with work performed in an operational environment and the ability to understand how data processing/information systems, expedites work processes. Incumbents should have significant experience in technical systems testing, analytical techniques and a working knowledge of structured testing methodology and various software testing tools is required. The incumbent works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. The incumbent exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Contacts pertain to significant matters often involving coordination among groups. Incumbents should possess above average verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information within a public setting.
