*NOTE: Need UI Web Developer - Boston MA * *Job Title: UI Web Developer Location: Boston- MADuration: 06 Months Contract* Job Description: You will join a lean team of four UX designers and developers and be responsible for creating brilliant mobile, online and email advertising with PayPal's next generation of offers and mobile ads. It is important that you have a good design eye in addition to a strong, mobile and front-end development background. This role is focused on advertising vs. product. You will primarily be responsible for: Lead the development aspect of the team Mock up banner ads, landing pages in Photoshop. Transform design mock-ups to responsive, animating ad banners and landing pages with HTML5/ CSS3/JS. Design and develop templates for new advertising channels including mobile, email, and web. Support a proprietary third-party ad serving platform. Job Requirements *Mobile experience is an absolute must* Comfortable with text formatting and positioning elements in CSS CSS sprite, CSS3 animation Web fonts Understand Responsive web design, mobile user experience e.g. touch, swipe. Understand what a user agent means, and how it affects user experience design Knowledge of HTML5 canvas Understand the mechanism of a JS click event, callback, synchronous and asynchronous loading Local debug in browser console, remote debug with proxy tools Follow coding standards for performance, cross browser / platform functionality Basic Qualifications: We require that you have a solid understanding of design principles and a good design eye; must possess a design background and mobile experience. *Mobile experience is an absolute must* Understands Lean UX principles and can converse intelligently in design and development languages. Must understand mobile UX environment, capabilities and limitations Must be an experienced to expert level Photoshop user and intermediate user in Illustrator and InDesign. Understands device resolution and DPI, knowledge of differences of color mode and 8/16/32 bits channel.
