Job Description: * The EDI Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, & testing, EDI related interfaces. * Under general direction provides support for EDI systems to include internal end users, internal IT support, trading partners (customers and suppliers) and their technical teams. * Responsible for maintaining EDI transaction activities, system software testing, software upgrades, gathering business requirements and documenting quality processes. Experience: * Minimum 5 years programming/development experience * ANSI X12 ( 850, 856, 810, 820, 847 & 997), EDIFACT, XML & cXML * EDI Translation tool user/map exit routines * Oracle Financials * Oracle Supply Chain * Oracle eCommerce Gateway * Data Base (Oracle, DB2, MySQL) * Java * Unix * SQL * PL/SQL * WPG (Websphere Partner Gateway) a must Knowledge/Skills Required: * Must have WebSphere Partner Gateway (WPG) mapping from scratch * Communications Configuration * EDI interface development experience preferably with Websphere Partner Gateway tool * Basic understanding of vendor relationships or related skills is required * Must have effective communication skills with groups and at individual level coupled with an ability to solve problems and identify strategies for process resolution. * Must have analytical skills with ability to critically evaluate data from multiple sources.
