*Job Title : Vmware EngineerLocation : Eagan, MN Contract : 6+months Contract* *Position Overview :* We are looking to add Virtualization Engineer to our high performance team to handle multiple projects. These projects involves upgrading large scale virtual infrastructure spread across global data centers, tech refreshes and VM migrations, as well as assisting virtual platform operations as needed. Virtualization Engineer must be able to exhibit strong communication, collaboration, as well as time management skills *Requirements * Proven knowledge of VMware vSphere. Experience in designing complex virtual infrastructure solutions in a mid-to-large scale data center environment. Proven analytical and trouble shooting skills. Ability to set scope and deliver quality results. Demonstrable customer focus attitude. Prior experience with large scale VM migrations. Experience with virtual machine copy and replication technologies. *Preferred * Scripting/automation skills (e.g. VB Script) and experience with WMI strongly preferred. Basic understanding of security concepts. (i.e. NTFS permissions, security auditing, security user contexts, application layer vulnerabilities, etc). Understanding of storage, network, and hardware technologies. Experience in Windows and/or UNIX/LINUX operating systems.
