Project is building out the back-end of internal portal. The ideal candidate can work independently, has excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Team consists of about 20 developers, working in groups of 2-3. This position will have minimal interaction with the business owners, but some design work would be helpful. Required • 5+ years developing Java applications • 3+ years developing Java web-based applications • 3+ years using Object oriented design and OO Patterns • 2+ years’ experience with Spring, Hibernate and JSP • Ability to clearly communicate with technical leaders - verbal and written • 5+ years working with relational databases and SQL queries/schemas. (Oracle preferred) • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent.
