*Location: Columbus, OH * *Duration: 6+ months* *Interview: phone* *SENIOR BUSINESS OBJECTS Developer/Admin* Minimum requirements: This position requires a senior level individual with 7-9 Yrs experience and proven capacity to lead the design and development of Business Object universes. The position reports to the Manager of Business Intelligence. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work with the business on requirements investigation and development of functional and technical reporting requirements documentation • Design and build moderate to complex Business Object Universes based on defined reporting and/or universe requirements • Ensure that all universes are developed and delivered timely and accurately • Support QA efforts through defect resolution • Work both internally and with the business to ensure that all information is accurate on all reports • Provide reporting architecture and strategy documentation SKILLS: • Strong Business Objects development, administration, and infrastructure knowledge • Strong SQL knowledge • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Retail Reporting Experience • Teradata knowledge preferred • Understanding of data modeling and query tuning preferred EXPERIENCE: • 5+ years of Business Objects experience • 2+ years of report requirements development & estimation *We need a strong developer that is a self-starter & independent worker. My perfect candidate would have done support and possibly some lead roles.
