Need to have experience monitoring within a complex SAP environment. Title: BSM SAP Tools Engineer Looking for a BSM SME that has experience monitoring within a complex SAP environment. This role will provide BSM monitoring and support, GAP analysis and reporting for the SAP suite of applications. Specific Project Deliverable: ARCHITECTURE DELIVERABLES: * Identify document all events that should be monitored per application. * Identify all monitors that should be alerted on per application. * Define the monitoring and alerting approach for non-production systems. PROCESSES THAT NEED TO BE ESTABLISHED: * Process for setting up new monitors for existing applications that are already being monitored. * Process for removing existing monitors. * Process receiving and implementing new monitoring requirements. * Process for identifying changes to Tartan applications that would necessitate monitoring updates. REPORTING DELIVERABLES: * Report that lists all monitors and relevant details about those monitors must be provided from all monitoring applications. * Reporting on Tartan’s application infrastructure must be provided and automated where possible. * Report that identifies gaps between Tartan’s design and what is being monitored/alerted. JOB DESCRIPTION: * Translates monitoring requirements into technical specifications to implement within the Tartan footprint * Translates service level expectations into technical specifications * Configures tools to provide visualizations for the health of services * Configures tools to measure service availability * Configures tools to measure end user performance * Configures, test, and deploy the monitors required to support service models * Creates and maintaining documentation * Works with BAITS to ensure technology life-cycling is current * Stays current on emerging trends in BSM, Business Activity Management, Business Process Monitoring SKILLS: * University degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related experience * 3 + years IT experience * 2 + years’ experience with system management, application support, or development * Experience using 1 or more monitoring tools (ex.
