Job Description:The consultant MUST HAVE the following experience.
Installation and upgrade of all component versions of vSphere including -
ESX(i) (v4.x, v5.0, v5.1, v5.5), vCenter, SSO / Heartbeating, SRM, and
vCAC.
Experience administering ESX clusters in vCenter using features
such as DRS, vMotion, HA, FT, Update Manager.
Deployment of Windows and Linux operating system images to
physical and virtual server hardware.
Experience using enterprise class SCSI attached storage with
VMware vSphere clusters.
Experience using Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)
Preferred Skills / Experience:
10 years experience designing and administering within a VMWare
virtualized enterprise
Image level VM backups, familiarity with Quest vRanger Pro.
Automation of VMware tasks with VMware PowerCLI (PowerShell),
vCenter, Orchestrator, and vCAC.
Experience with other VMware technologies: vCenter Operations 5
Enterprise Suite, vCloud Director, Site Recovery Manager, Cisco Nexus 1000V
Overall familiarity with the VMWare vCloud Suite component bundles
Experience with using vSphere and EMC Recover point replication
solutions
