DescriptionThe ABDC Technology Group provides innovative proprietary
systems that enable the ABDC business unit to offer industry-leading, open
architecture target date products (CRS) and lifetime income strategy
products (LIS) to our defined contribution (DC) plan sponsors. Our GATES
platform is the only system in the industry with the ability to manage and
aggregate guaranteed lifetime withdrawal benefits (GLWB) across multiple
insurers. Our systems are responsible for executing the day-to-day trading
activity, benefit administration, and fund unitization for the CRS and LIS
products.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a New York-based Programmer/Analyst
to join our ABDC Technology group.• Describe the role:o Development and
support of Lifetime Income Strategy (LIS) participant website and benefit
calculator. Site provides DC plan participants with detailed account
information as well as tools to help estimate potential retirement income.o
Development and support of in-house developed business applications to
support fund trading processeso Collaborate with our internal and external
business partners to implement product changeso Produce technical
specification and design documents.o Hands-on C#/.NET design and
development (front-end and server-side development), hands-on database
development including schema design and business logic implementation.•
Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role
supports:o LIS participant website and benefit calculator.• The key job
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:o Full lifecycle
development for LIS websiteo Work closely with business partners to
determine functional requirementso Participate in brainstorming sessions
and rapid prototyping development to refine requirements• What makes this

QualificationsThe ideal candidate should have the following:•
Qualifications, Experience, and Education:o Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, or Mathematicso 3+ years of rigorous
design/programming experienceo Solid hands-on experience in C# ,Net
Framework, and web technologieso Strong relational database
design/development skills (SQL Server or equivalent)o Experience with
distributed system architectureo Graphical user interface design (web and
WinForm)o Strong understanding of object-oriented techniques and design
patternso Track record of working on complex projects under aggressive
deadlineso Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and communication
skills• Skills:o Advanced C#.Net and ASP .Net MVC skillso Client side HTML,
JavaScript, Jquery/CSS development skillso .Net Framework, WCF, WinFormso
SQL, XML, SSRS• Special Knowledge (if applicable):o Financial services
experience a pluso Web API technologies and up to date knowledge of ASP
.Net MVC 4-5 a pluso Experience with web services, REST, and SOAP a plus
