*Business Analyst w/PD EDI - Contract (Columbus, OH)* *Title: Business AnalystLocation: OH-Dublin-Parkwood6 months contractMax Pay Rate: $40-45/hr c2c all inclusive* *JOB TITLE: IT SYSTEM/BUSINESS ANALYST* GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary role of the PD EDI IT Business Analyst is to elicit and translate client/customer EDI requirements into technical specifications, maintain relationships with the client/customer, and drive standard business processes across PD EDI implementation. The BA should have an understanding of business priorities and the relative importance of their projects. This analyst is able to identify multiple approaches to problem solving and recommend the best case solution. A BA must conduct thorough business process analysis to understand existing workflows and systems, document current processes and systems, create requirements for new processes, develop use cases, and manage requirement changes. Furthermore, an IT BA must possess strong technical acumen with the ability to translate information and research into non-technical language as necessary to effectively communicate across teams. Specific Duties, Activities, Qualities, and Responsibilities: Interact with teams from multiple organizations to track EDI implementation progress, identify risks, communicate risks and status, and assess potential impacts to the business. Maintain documentation such as project lists, project status reports and budget as required. Elicit and translate client/customer requirements to be submitted into EDI solution delivery work stream. Maintain regular contact with both internal clients and external clients/customers. Coordinate and report on project progress, obstacles and accomplishments. Manage requirement changes. Collaborate with quality control, cross functional team BAs, and Technical Leads to ensure Business acceptance. Develop use cases as a key communication tool between the business and technical teams. Create and maintain functional models, process flows, and wire-frame diagrams. Provide sound judgment under significant pressure. Provide leadership to help facilitate/drive resolution of client implementations and post implementation issues. Demonstrate excellent listening, communication and facilitation skills working with various teams in EIT, functional partners and colleagues of all professional levels. Mentor junior level team members. Defines requirements in accordance with SDP/SDLC, management and project/product scope. Ensures problem statements and objectives are clearly defined.
