Proactively work to make quality management an integral part of the Client software development process to ensure high-quality IT deliverables. Serve as a reference expert in offering IT quality management services to all of Client. Build positive, on-going relationships with Client business partners and IT teams for purposes of improving the overall quality of all IT deliverables. Define, implement, support, and enforce IT quality assurance best practices, process improvement initiatives, standards, and procedures. Perform reviews and QA audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and standards. Plan and implement creative product/project testing strategies during the software design, development, and test phases to ensure high-quality IT deliverables, and to accommodate tight schedules and resource constraints. Measure, monitor, and report on the efficiency and effectiveness of IT quality management initiatives. Design, develop, and implement quality assurance test plans, test cases, and perform appropriate QA testing, to ensure a smooth transition of defect-free IT deliverables into the Client IT production environments. Implement, administer, and support a test automation environment and associated tools to improve overall IT efficiency and effectiveness, and the quality of IT deliverables. Review the results of SAP QA testing with business partners, IT project managers, and software development teams to gain signoff and acceptance for changes being introduced to production environments. Review and approve required project deliverables as it relates to test plans and testing documentation. Implement and support effective processes and procedures for defect and issues management during the software design and development process. Desired Skills and Experience BS/BA degree in Information Systems or related major with three (3) years experience; or BS/BA degree with four (4) years experience; or Associates degree in Information Systems with four (4) years experience. Fundamental understanding and experience in quality management philosophies, principles, methods, tools, and standards. Experience in SAP, software inspection, testing, and verification. Understanding of project management principles and software development life-cycle, change management process. Experience in planning, organizing, prioritizing multiple projects independently. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and applicable software. Additional Qualifications: Quality Assurance certifications. Project Management certifications.
