Hi, This is for my direct client opening for PeopleSoft Upgrade Specialist – Boston, MA. This is a 6-8 weeks contract position. The hourly rate is DOE.
With each resume, please include a brief description of the consultant’s recent projects, related experience, the role the consultant played on related projects and his/her seniority level. i. The individual in this role will be expected to: · Review current “test move to production” process and identify areas that can be streamlined, improved, or parallelized · Document procedure changes where process improvements should be made · Assist in conducting a Test Move to Production , with the target of completing the technical portion of the Move (i.e. through Chapter 4 of the Upgrade manual) of no more than 60 hours end-to-end. · Assist in the execution and tuning of any Upgrade-related conversion processes (i.e. credit card encryption process) ii. This individual must have the following skills and background: · Excellent verbal communication skills · Multiple projects’ experience in performing a lead role in the technical process of upgrading PeopleSoft applications, specifically with PeopleSoft Financials and preferably from v8.4 to v9.0 · Specific experience with measurably improving the performance and runtime of the PeopleSoft upgrade process so as to fit the process into a short (2-3 day) go-live window) · Experience with using PeopleSoft Change Assistant throughout the upgrade process · Experience with SQL tuning in an Oracle 10g database iii. The following skills are desired but not absolutely required for this role: · Experience performing the functions listed above in a comparably-sized higher-education environment. iv.
