*Position: Java/J2EE DeveloperLocation: Chicago, ILDuration: 6+ Months* JD: Other notes- • Self Starter • Think outside the box • 8 years Java, Core may be helpful, the old App is Legacy What we are looking for on a contractor basis is a Java EE developer with the following experience in order or significance: • Java EE, with emphasis on web services • Spring Framework v3, 4 – The Spring Framework is in the core of our applications. • Maven – We use Apache Maven to manage dependencies, builds and deployment. • JUnit 4 – We use test driven development. Experience with basic mock objects (Spring MockMVC) is a plus • Basic understanding of MySQL database. We are currently w/o a persistence layer and interact directly through database queries. • Git -- Client is making use of a distributed version control system. Our development framework allows localized development and does not require access to a specific development environment. Our preferred IDE is IntelliJ IDEA, but since we are using Maven to manage the projects using another IDE, e.g. Eclipse, is possible as long as no additional dependencies are introduced.
