Project Management skills such as documentation, organization, communication - this person will be speaking with users in the business on a regular basis *Job Description: * Salesforce Analyst/Developer needed to join IT group providing Salesforce.com integrations and extensions for multiple organizations within the business. This position will develop code; assist with technical strategy and direction to ensure environment is aligned with business strategy; and offer recommendations for process, workflow, set-up and ongoing enhancement. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, configure, and develop custom code/objects using the Salesforce.com\Force.com developer toolkit; develop custom objects, triggers, and workflows in Salesforce\Force environment; develop web services API integrations with other systems including Salesforce.com, home grown production systems, and vendor applications; provide guidance and best practices around Salesforce.com solutions; provide creative architecture and coding solutions to help the business; participate in the full application life cycle from design to development, testing, deployment, and support of Salesforce application; identify and document data and application integration requirements; interact with the business user community to help correctly scope Salesforce\Force.com implementations; assist in the architecting and development of future state plans regarding the Salesforce.com\Force.com capabilities; participates in special projects; and perform other duties as assigned, potentially requiring development skill sets outside of the Salesfoce.com environment. REQUIREMENTS: 2+ years’ experience in Salesforce.com design, configuration, and custom development; 2+ years’ of object oriented development skills, preferably Java, .Net, JSP/ASP or equivalent; experience with functional elements of Sales Cloud, Service Could, Marketing Cloud, and Chatter; experience in integrating Salesforce.com\Force.com with relational databases; proficiency in Salesforce.com development including custom objects, workflows, and triggers; proficiency in Salesforce.com development environment including Apex, triggers, VisualForce, Force.com IDE, migration tools, SOSQL, and web services; experience with enterprise integration to Salesforce.com; experience with data loader and migration/ETL tools; experience with Salesforce integration; ability to resolve issues related to the Salesforce.com platform; solid knowledge of both business and IT processes; proficiency in developing and executing test scenarios; strong analytical skills and technical expertise; ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems; and ability to work independently on development projects.
