*Title: Release Manager*

*Location: Racine, WI*

*Duration: 6 months*



*Job Description *

This individual will be responsible for the world-wide mission-critical SAP
systems. This position will be involved in the strategic evaluation of
technologies; adoption, planning and execution in concert with Leadership.
It will also oversee day-to-day change requests (e.g. application
transports, infrastructure changes) as well as release management (in-depth
project planning and execution of major release changes to applications).
This position will work closely with *Infrastructure & Operations*,
Applications, Information Management and Architecture Teams to ensure that
all technology, system and process changes work well together to support
the worldwide business operation.



*Roles & Responsibilities:*

·         Application Lifecycle Management

·         Participate in weekly meetings to review and discus all requests
for new technologies, systems, tools and projects.

·         Archiving SAP

·         Audits & Controls pertaining to the SAP systems

·         Change Management – will oversee aspects of the change process
including tracking of all requests and communication of those requests to
all teams involved with SAP development and maintenance

·         Financial Management – will oversee budget including Software
Maintenance, Depreciation, Managed Services, and Personnel expenses

·         Project Management –play a leadership role understanding the
project objectives, considering approaches, timelines, resources, system
requirements, budgets, etc. to aid in planning these projects

·         Note:  due to the nature of this position, some On Call Support
after normal work hours and on weekends will be required



*Skills and Experience:*

*Required*

·         10+ years of progressive experience managing cross-functional
team responsible for mission-critical SAP systems

·         5 to 7 years’ experience managing complex IT projects,
initiatives and/or IT departments – including knowledge / use of ASAP
methodology

·         Business acumen and knowledge of common CPG business processes

·         Knowledge / experience effectively managing resources outside
your direct management

·         Strong knowledge and understanding of Business Partner’s services
including line of business, processes and applicable technologies.

·         Experience with global enterprises and cross functional projects

·         Knowledge / experience developing & managing a large functional
budget – proven record of lowering the total cost of ownership for the
functions they managed

·         Strong ability to interact effectively and influence at all
levels of the organization

·         Proven team player able to collaborate with all IT functions and
develop trust-based win-win arrangements

·         Possess business process expertise and technical understanding of
IT and impact on the business

·         Ability to apply customer relationship management practices

·         Dedication and commitment to top-quality service and to meeting
customer expectations

·         Speed and responsiveness in the resolution of issues

·         Natural leadership ability and strong work ethic along with
attention to detail

·         Experience in developing business cases, cost/benefit analyses,
ROI’s and financial models

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Strong relationship-building skills

·         Strong project management skills

*Education Requirements and /or Work Experience*

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business or
8-12 years of work experience in areas of job function concentration.
