*Position : Software Engineer in Test (SDET)* *Location : Philadelphia, PA * *Duration : 12+ Months * *Phone / skype Must be USC, GC or EAD-GC * *Company Overview:* · This fast-paced employer is one of America’s largest video, high-speed Internet, and phone providers. · It also enjoys an international reputation as a leading media, entertainment, and communications company. · The corporate culture presented by the employer provides an innovative and diverse environment for employees, and reflects the individuality of its customer base. · Working for this company will guarantee access to innovative technology, and it has also been consistently competitive in “top places to work” lists. *Job Description* · Our client’s platform web service delivery team is looking for a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join the group. · The candidate will ideally have a strong technical background with a focus on web services and data, and be able to apply it to the testing of our cutting-edge products. · The will be responsible for designing, running, and maintaining test cases in a continuous integration environment. · The testing effort will be broad, and including unit, functional, and performance tests. · A typical day will include writing and reviewing test cases, analyzing new features and the upcoming pipeline to anticipate test coverage needs, reviewing and assigning defects, and contributing to an agile development lifecycle. · You will interact closely with the product, development, operations and client QA teams. · The position will provide an opportunity to explore and implement new and better testing practices, both in-house and open source. - Build test cases to verify that the data being sent to the client applications meet the product and business requirements.
