Experience Required: * Minimum (8+) years industry experience in embedded firmware architecture, design and implementation including:o Expertise in embedded C/C++ development.o Experience with embedded RTOS systems.o Solid understanding of good firmware design principles and coding standards (Embedded C, MISRA2004/2012, &hellip ).o Expertise with embedded development tools (ex. PL-Lint, Klocwork, ... etc.) and best practices for safe/secure software development.o Strong knowledge of embedded hardware systems (uP, FPGA, CPLD Memories, etc.)o Solid history of performance on several embedded projects with complete development life cycle.o Communication Protocol experience.o BSP experience a plus.o Experience with USB, Serial communications, CAN, MODBUS, Zigbee, power metering nice to have.o Experience with XML and encryption nice to have.o Experience working with Subversion, Clearcase, and Clearquest nice to have.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills will also be needed for documentation creation, discussions, correspondence etc. Experience working as a member of multi-site, multi-cultural teams nice to have.
