*Please send resume to **s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* Job Title: Network Security Engineer Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position Client: State of NC Senior Network / Security Engineer that has hands-on experience in a broad range of IT Infrastructure for State facility in Morganton, NC. This includes the implementation of Local Area Networking (LAN, switches, routers, servers, voice over IP (VOIP), Network Access Control (NAC), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), and Wireless LAN (WLAN). Emphasis on LAN and NAC experience; VLAN, switch configurations, posture assessment, mobile device management, endpoint security, policy assessments and remediation analysis. Expected Skills: Able to work without assistance; can provide leadership to others; able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have extensive industry experience. Description (including, but not limited to): 1. Design and maintenance of both the hardware and software necessary for a computer network 2. Specialization in Local Area Networks (LANs)/Wide Area Networks (WANs), TCP/IP, virtual machines, and/or server/network infrastructure, load balancers 3. Responsibility for installation, configuration and administration of network routers and switches 4. Responsibility for installation of cable, wiring and related equipment for telephony and data interfaces and systems with communications functions 5. Design of network VLANs, IPS, firewall, nexus switches, Cisco core, Network Access Control (NAC), VOIP, SNMP, WLAN, Cisco ISE, Qos, IP Video, ACLs, VRF, DHCP, subnets. 6. Network monitoring tools: Solarwinds, Cisco Prime, Lancope, analysis of netflows. Voice and Data LAN Layer 2 & Layer 3 experience Required 7 Years Configuration of core routers and switches Required 7 Years Network Access Control (NAC) ASA policy enforcements, mobile device management, intrusion prevention, LAN management, identify and access management Required 7 Years Security infrastructure and installation and configuration of SNMP protocol, SNMP standards, performance, management systems Required 7 Years Network Monitoring tools: Cisco Prime, Solarwinds, netflow analysis Highly desired 5 Years Load balancers Highly desired Years Cisco ISE, multicast, active dirrctory Desired IPS, management of firewalls, WAN, LAN Required 7 Years fiber, cat6, Ethernet, copper wiring experience Highly desired 5 Years CCNA, MCSE, CCNP, CCDA Desired Years Previous DHHS, DMH, Healthcare experience Desired Local Travel b/t Raleigh and Morganton 3-4 days/wk is required.
