*Position: *Network Engineer -Level 3 Technical Support Team *Location*: Houston, TX 77098 *JOB DESCRIPTION:* This resource will be a part of the “Engineering and Level 3 Technical Support Team”. This team is mainly responsible for the design and engineering of new technologies, risk assessment and project implementation. They are currently in need of a well-rounded Network Engineer who will be responsible on WAN architecture/design, routing and WAN virtualization in a large enterprise environment. He/she will design network as a long term strategy and will virtualize all WAN traffic. CCIE – Routing and Switching required! *Network Engineer Responsibilities:* • Develop and deliver network specifications, high level designs and low level designs for service and customer projects • Develop and maintain Network Service strategy • Develop and maintain Network Service General Practices • Develop and maintain device configuration standards • Develop and maintain technology and service ISRMPs • Develop and maintain network technology recommendations • Develop and maintain network device OS recommendations • Develop and maintain technology training program • Develop and steward network lab design and use • Develop and maintain engineering process and deliverables • Develop and perform NVS sponsored technology Proof-of-Concept projects • Primary contact and steward for network design and architecture relationships with key vendors • Approve exceptions to General Practices and configuration standards *Required Skills:* Network Engineering – expert Network Design – expert WAN architecture/design – expert Routing – expert WAN virtualization in a large enterprise environment – required (as per the manager, this is a pretty new thing) CCIE required -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
