Looking forward to hear from you... *Role: Senior Java Developer* *Location: Pleasanton, CA* *Duration: 9+ months* *Rate: $/hr on C2C All Incl.* *LOCALS PREFERRED!!!* *Job Description:* · 6+ years practical (hands-on) experience with J2EE Web applications development. · 2-5 years practical (hands-on) development experience with JMS, Messaging framework, Application development framework PLAY Framework, ORM. · 3+ Web Services Experience with implementation of REST & Web Service Servers and clients implementation experience. · Experience with Creation of ADA-Compliant Websites. · Domain experience with extended expertise in RDBMS, IBM DB2, SQL Server (DML, DDL, Query Optimization). · Experience with Unix operating systems such as AIX / RHEL. · Experience with workflow systems preferred. · Strong understanding of best practices around website security. · Strong knowledge of web server and application server capabilities and configuration. · Strong understanding of CI and CD (maven, CVS). · Strong understanding of development methodologies such as RUP, OOA&D, or Agile development. · Strong understanding of web development aspects such as caching & SEO. · Understanding of security solutions such as single sign on, federated single sign on (SAML), access management, encryption, SSL, Directory Server (LDAP), and Identity Management. · Good understanding of infrastructure deployment architectures (DMZ, load balancers, firewalls, IPS, etc…). · Ability to translate business requirements into working solutions. · Innovative thinking to solve challenging problems. · Results oriented with an ability to work in team and individual contributor work environments. · Strong organization skills with good interpersonal skills and a customer service oriented attitude. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Knowledge of Manhattan System (DOM & WMS) a plus.
