Please find below requirement and share if any profiles to b...@gerberatek.com or feel free to call 314-499-4173. *REQ:* Sr. Financial Modeler New York 12 months Key Responsibilities: • Work with senior modelers in the Financial Modeling Group to develop mortgage and consumer finance credit and stress test models • Lead data preparation and analysis, model estimation, and model implementation for client modeling assignments. • Prepare model validation material and documentation. • Manage research analysts on specific projects. Identify and ensure adequate and appropriate resources are assigned to successfully complete projects on a timely basis. • Assist colleagues in testing and reviewing new models. Qualifications and Skills: • 2 to 3 years of financial modeling experience. Must have experience developing econometric models in the fixed-income area. • SAS/IML skills are required. SQL/Perl/VBA programming skills also highly desirable. • Must have experience working with large mortgage or consumer finance data. • Experience with ‘big data’ tools (Hadoop, etc.) is plus. • Experience in project management preferred. • Excellent communication and presentation skills required. • Demonstrate ability to work well with and motivate a team. Education requirement: • A master or PhD level education with a focus on math, engineering, finance/econometrics, or statistics is required. Some exposure to finance is also highly desirable.
