 Job responsibilities will include creation of new
applications/interfaces, reviewing and modifying

the existing applications, designing and developing new features in the
applications, supporting

critical production issues

 Highly experienced in working relational databases (Oracle) and Unix –
Shell scripting

 Architecting technical solution based on the business requirements. This
includes database

design, modeling and creation of conceptual, logical, physical database and
dimensional model

creation

 Database development using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Writing shells scripts
that calls SQL scripts

 Experienced in Performance Tuning and Optimization of SQL statements.

 Proficient in advance features of Oracle for PL/SQL programming like
using cursor variables, Ref.

cursors, Varrays, nested tables and Dynamic SQL.

 Designed new interfaces/applications for both internal and external
partners to send and receive

data from the Source systems

 Experience with configuring and using SFTP SSH keys in a Unix/Linux
environment

 Understanding the business process flow , analyze requirements and
prepare High Level

Technical Design docs

 Development of stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Materialized View and
Triggers

 Understanding of Oracle Partitioning

 Utilized database links to accommodate cross-database transactions

 Experience with working with ETL tools like webMethods, Informatica

 Experience to create and parse XML documents using Oracle tools and SQL

 Can write complex queries and sub queries to do analysis work and
generated reports to validate

results

 Should be able to work with various Performance tuning (both SQL and
PL-SQL Tuning)

techniques using tools provided by Oracle like EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL*TRACE,
AUTOTRACE,

HINTS, DBMS_PROFILER etc.

 Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical
specifications, data mappings,

program logic, and flowchart

 Comprehend the requirements from business, brainstorm among the
Application team to design

the database changes

 Can perform impact analysis and dependency identification for all the
enhancements to the

existing applications.

 Can prepare high level / low level functional and technical documents
along with the test plan

 Must follow SDLC Processes
