*Must have: Point of Sale (Ideally Toshiba or IBM Systems)* Job Description: The Application Analyst is responsible for leading in all facets of the systems development lifecycle for application enhancements of various sizes and complexities related to the Toshiba CHEC Self-Checkout application. The Application Analyst performs many of these tasks independently and communicates with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance to standards. The Application Analyst will assist with the implementation a new solution, test and help support the hardware and software for Self-Checkout project. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others. Partner with appropriate teams and vendors to deliver software solutions according to SDLC best practices. 5 or more years’ experience in system analysis, design or programming and the associated development methodologies. Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization. Ability to interact well in a team environment. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Good leadership skills Can work with minimal supervision Ability to determine methods and procedures on new projects with minimal guidance. Knowledgeable of appropriate change/release management practices. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. IS related associate degree, or a bachelor's degree, or comparable work experience in an Information Systems position or related business position. An ideal candidate will have experience with POS systems, in particular Toshiba CHEC and Toshiba IBM4690.
