Please send resume to ma...@genuineitllc.com *Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst (Pega)* *Location: Norwalk, CT* *Position Overview:* The Senior Pega Business Systems Analyst is a specialist practitioner accountable for the execution of business analysis activities for our Unity Program. Unity is a program which will replace the existing CRM platforms across our global presence with eServe, a CRM platform including Billing and Finance components. The “core” component of eServe, which is built on best business practices, has been develop in the UK and is in the process of being implemented across the UK. He/She will need to work closely with business SMEs in workshops during the inception and elaboration phases to gather requirements, develop and prioritize the backlog and develop use cases. He/She may also play a key role in assisting in the planning of UAT with the business. They will work closely with the overall Unity team, consisting of both UK and US based resources and an offshore vendor. *Detailed Responsibilities Include:* - In a specific functional area, lead workshops with the business teams during Inception and Elaboration phases of the project to identify US localization needs. Work closely with other business analysts to present workshops in a standard, consistent format. - Become an eServe SME in for a specific set of functionality, for example, Sales, Finance, etc. - Work closely with business area liaison or subject matter experts (SME) to scope and determine needs regarding business processes and functionality to draft, finalize, and update business requirements and use cases. - Partner with users to identify, evaluate, and develop system specifications (functional and non-functional requirements) and procedures which are efficient, cost effective, and meet user requirements, then communicate and document technical approaches, standards, and system investments. - Support the PMO as a liaison between business units and IT Development staff. Facilitate exceptional communication and knowledge transfer where required to accomplish work more effectively, efficiently, and with increased quality and reliability. - Utilize business experience and skills to assess and provide advice on the practicability of alternatives, marrying up technical limitations with operational realities. - Assist with test cases strategy; work with business partners and technical staff to assist in problem solving efforts to assure that testing is completed efficiently and timely with high quality outcomes. - Constantly maintain and groom the US Unity backlog. - Work with the PM to create and maintain project statuses and reports. *Job Requirements* - Excellent inter-personal skills and experience managing clients/users at a senior level. - Demonstrate strong stakeholder management capability to influence the direction and scope of new project requests. - Understand of all stages of alternative software engineering life cycles for development both within and beyond our organization. - Possess a broad knowledge of business and business functions, and understand the significance of commercial constraints. Be able to recognize potential assignments outside own areas of specialization and bring to bear appropriate expertise as necessary. - Think critically and strategically and be able to deal with complex and ambiguous environments; maintain a business-wide view across a variety of projects, work-streams and time frames. - Working knowledge of Business Process Management. - Proficient in Process Management, Requirements Management and Project Management – such as Visio, MS Project, Jira, etc. - Proficient in software delivery methodologies – such as SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Rational Unified Process (RUP). *Qualifications:* - Responsible for implementing solutions on *Pega 7.X,* and Frameworks.
