*Contract Position: Senior Data Analyst*
Duration: 1 Year
Location: Raleigh, NC
End Client: State client of NC

*DUTIES*
Data Analyst will define, coordinate, and document the design, development,
modification and implementation of data centric solutions such as data
integration, extract transform and load (ETL), data cleansing and master
data management for the Data Management and Governance project under the
DMV Modernization program.
This individual will be experienced in data integration, master data
management, and will be proficient in querying, profiling, and cleansing
data.
*Responsibilities*
• Perform data profiling on elements, entities, and entity
relationships
• Create data quality reports
• Perform data reconciliation
• Identify, verify or populate code & reference table values
• Identify elements for metadata standardization
• Establish element, entity, and entity relationship matching and
reconciliation rules
• Establish rules for merging records
• Establish rule for manually cleansing records
• Participate in the discovery, documentation and presentation of
rules, issues, metadata, and business/technical decisions
*Skills Required*
· Knowledge of Data Integration best practices, analysis,
discovery, profiling, cleansing, staging, data quality and extract
transform and load (ETL): 5 years
· Proficient in querying multiple database objects using SSIS and
SQL: 5 years
· Proficient in data profiling, data cleansing, and data
integration of multiple database objects: 5 years
· Understanding and development of both logical and physical data
models: 5 years
· Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills: 5 years
· Clear understanding and experience with MS platforms, including
Windows OS desktop and server, Office, SharePoint, SQL Server, SSIS, MDS
and DQS: 3 years
· Clear understanding of MS Visual Studio & Team Foundation Server:
3 years
