We have an urgent requirement with our Direct Client for a *MS ACCESS-VBA
Developer*
Contract Position: *MS ACCESS-VBA Developer*
Location: Tumwater, WA
Duration: 4+ months
Interview: Phone+ Skype
End Client: State Client of WA
*DUTIES*
· Make enhancements and fixes to Legacy Access application that is
tied to sequel, in order to remain functional during the transition to the
next generation enterprise solution
· Demonstrated IT Desktop Applications Development & Training
experience, operating within a Legacy Access System tied to sequel
· Expected to be immediately productive in the assigned tasks
· Make alterations to the Access database querries, forms, and links
· Also create several forms for more access to the data in an
auditable way
*SKILLS REQUIRED*
· Expert level of experience, (minimum of 8 years), Developer
experience customizing COTS systems for specific user needs.
· Microsoft preferred
· Expert level, Microsoft Access development and implementation
· Expert level of experience, (minimum of 8 years), in estimating
task durations, costs and levels of effort
· Expert level of experience in Microsoft SQL
· Expert level of experience in the use of VBA
· Developer experience in implementing modifications to, or
integration with budgeting, accounting, and other complex transactional
systems that require record documentation for auditing purposes
· Developer experience in medium-scale system integration of
accounting, and contract administration systems
· Skilled in the use of Cognos (Preferred)
