*Overview:*
*Consultant will be responsible for configuring the storage, coordinating
and performing 1TB to 2TB migrations, and general support for all VTL/SIR
solutions from an HDS perspective.* Consultant should be will versed in
storage administration & provisioning, storage network management (SAN and
NAS), and backups & documentation for many diverse application systems and
operating systems. Consultant will install, customize, and integrate the
client’s USP- Hitachi Universal Storage technology.

*Requirements:*
1. Must have 3-5 yrs experience with HDS platforms including Hitachi
AMS2500
2. Some Knowledge of FalconStor VTL/SIR and Redhat Linux would be
helpful.
a. HiCommand products
I. Device Mgr
ii. Tuning Mgr
iii. Tiered Storage Mgr (or Volume Migration/Cruise Control)* Migrator
- for AMS2500*
3. Must have
a. Data Migration
b. Storage Provisioning (tuning & load balancing)
4. Potentially helpful if they had Brocade/Cisco SAN Fabric experience
5. Perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance
with internal best practices.
6. Maintaining multi-tiered storage infrastructure leveraging HDS
hardware and software
7. Participate in the execution of the business continuance and
disaster recovery plans.
8. Participate in the design and operational execution of the
customer's storage disaster recovery process.
9. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
10. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective
communicator
11. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this
project
