Hi, We are looking for Java Performance Architect in Boston, MA. *Performance Architect*
*Location: Boston, MA* *Duration: 6+ month contract* *Rate $65/hr on C2C Max* Overview: Determine and shape non-functional requirements for sizing, inception, design, and implementation phases of selected enterprise projects Understand changes to the architectural landscape and their NFR/Performance implications on existing systems Create and maintain logical models to describe various aspects of system or process behavior and quality (volume, response time, availability, etc.) Work with product management, solution and application architects to define and document volumetric requirements across a variety of functional domains. Assist in defining SLAs and performance expectations for system components and processes. Analyze and identify areas for system or process performance improvement. Gather and analyze current system performance metrics to predict performance/capacity impacts. Provide supporting systems analysis for enterprise architecture and delivery teams to foster realization of non-functional requirements. Evaluate and research emerging performance tuning and monitoring processes and technologies Support general solution architecture activities for a variety of enterprise and core retail projects. Work closely with other enterprise architects and analysts to influence and develop solutions to performance and stability challenges Develop unit test scripts to facilitate the collection of basic performance data: log parsing, synthetic transaction testing, etc. Responsibilities/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred 10+ years working with technology teams on full life cycle development Have played a major role in a product that has shipped Master level understanding of web development (HTML5, CSS, Javascript, HTTP, N-tier, ORM, etc.) Master level skill with one programming language (Ruby, Javascript, Scala, Java, C#, etc.) Strong practical experience with one web framework (Rails, Django, etc.) Strong experience with one RDBMS (mysql, postgres, etc.) Strong working knowledge of Git (or another source control management mechanism) Strong working knowledge of some automated testing methodology (RSpec, TDD, Cucumber, BDD, etc.) Good communication skills (emailing, design documentation) Experience with Agile development Experience with RESTful style web services Experience with OAuth Experience with a responsive CSS framework (Bootstrap, Zurb, etc.) Working knowledge of AWS or other cloud service provider Knowledge of Object Oriented Design Understanding of functional programming Knowledge of Design Patterns System Performance and Benchmarking Experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting Infrastructure and server metrics: CPU/memory utilization, load average, i/o utilization, swapping, network utilization, etc. Performance metrics: GC collection time, heap utilization, java thread and heap analysis, etc. -- *Best Regards,* *Mahesh* *mah...@technorocketsystems.com <mah...@technorocketsystems.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
