*Please send resume to **s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* *Job Title: Lead Oracle Developer* *Location: Albany, NY* *Duration: 24 Months* *Direct Client Position* *Note: Need 2 references* *The Division of Nutrition relies heavily on custom software applications in order to effectively and efficiently support many nutritional programs, including the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).* *The NYWIC MIS-EBT Project is focused on transferring and implementing a .NET/Oracle software application from another state to replace the legacy PowerBuilder/Sybase WIC Statewide Information System (WICSIS) that currently supports the WIC program.* *A Programmer with Oracle expertise is needed to work with our existing Sybase experts to plan for the extraction, cleansing, migration, and verification of data from the WICSIS database to the Oracle database supporting the NYWIC system. Candidate will also participate in knowledge transfer of the new system to IT staff currently supporting Division of Nutrition applications.* *Day-to-day tasks may include but are not limited to:* *Participate in analysis of data structures in both the current Sybase database and the new Oracle system database design.* *Work with existing Sybase staff and business stakeholders to identify the scope of data to be migrated, and differences in data structures and dependencies between the two systems, and prepare a risk report.* *Participate in data mapping and define business rules.* *Prepare a testing and verification plan for the data extract.* *Work alongside the Transfer & Implementation vendor to address any issues in the migration of data to the new database. * *Review technical documentation being developed to define the new system database* *Participate in knowledge transfer of the new system database to existing IT staff.* *Participate in project team meetings, and work closely with the Project Manager to monitor and identify technical risks and issues.* *Requested Qualifications * *60 months of experience functioning as a technical lead in performing data mapping and migration from legacy systems to modern Oracle databases.* *84 months of experience analyzing data structures and entity relationships in Oracle 10g or above.* *84 months of experience designing database schemas in Oracle 10g or above.* *84 months of experience developing procedures, functions and packages in Oracle PL/SQL.* *60 months of experience performing data health assessment and data cleansing in preparation for data migrations.* *60 months of experience performing testing and verification of data migrations.* *60 months of experience preparing documentation related to Oracle database migrations.* *12 months of experience performing data analysis or design using Sybase ASE.* *Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field, from an accredited institution.* *A copy of the degree must be submitted with the Candidate Response Form.* *Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * *Thanks, Sam CNC Consulting, Inc. 201-546-3096 s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
