*Position Summary:*

The ERP Development Lead will facilitate technical design and development
activities within the ERP development, integration and test environments.
In addition to very strong technical skills with JD Edwards and SQL Server,
this position will require strong business process analysis and strong
interpersonal skills in order to work with leadership to provide technical
solutions to support business needs.  This will include measuring and
tracking the development teams work progress from start to finish on
integrations, data conversions, enhancements and reports. This will also
include reviewing and creating technical specifications from functional
specifications to ensure development is accurate. This person will guide 5
– 7 developers to ensure code is consistent, reviewed, following best
practices and reported back to the project manager and resource managers.
This is both a tactical and strategic role. The individual needs to be able
to design and execute.

*Responsibilities:*

·         Facilitate design sessions and create technical diagrams for use
in specifications documents.

·         Develop and review technical specifications for JDE and SQL
database structures.

·         Familiarity with JD Edwards Fat Client development
implementation, including Object Management Workbench, Universal Table
Browser, Expression Manager, Interactive Debugger, BI Publisher, Business
Functions and System Functions.

·         Track and Measure team progress using code, user story, defect,
test case and release statistics.

·         Understand the testing environment and ensure data is available
and accurate for unit test, QA test and conversion.

·         Design and document application architecture, relationships,
designs, ETL processes and design solutions for projects.

·         Provide strategic and tactical solutions for application
requirements and direction on design.

·         Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and cross
department teams in conceptualizing and developing new requirements,
actionable data and insights, and enhancements for application creation.

·         Collaborate with developers to create and refine estimates based
on functional and technical specifications.

·         Monitor estimate accuracy and continually evolve estimation
process.

·         Facilitate development planning sessions for weekly task
definition.

·         Complete development as assigned.

·         Facilitate daily SCRUM meeting to review development status and
create appropriate retrospectives.

·         Assist in the development of a source code management and release
process for the ERP solution.

·         Provide end to end support through requirements gathering,
design, development, testing and implementation.

·         Coach team members by:

o   Sharing experience and knowledge

o   Creating and documenting SOP’s and Standard Work Instructions

o   Providing OJT and mentoring as appropriate.

·         Utilize SharePoint site for collaboration on project and support
documentation.

·         Complete code reviews and ensure development standards are
followed.

·         Assist team members in day-to-day operations and issue resolution.

·         Adhere to change management procedures to mitigate the disruption
of services to the business.

·         Follow Data Governance and SDLC standards.

·         Other duties as assigned.



*Qualifications:*

·         Excellent understanding of, and broad experience with application
structures, theories, principles, and practices

·         Ability to enhance business efficiencies through both system
performance initiatives as well as business process improvement

·         SQL experience with expert-level skills in the SQL language,
creating views and stored procedures

·         Preferred technical skills, knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise 1,
SharePoint, SSIS

·         Demonstrated ability to complete development assignments on time
and budget

·         Demonstrated ability to lead and provide metrics for a medium
size development team

·         Ddemonstrated ability to thoroughly understand and act on
business priorities

·         Ability to prioritize and work on several tasks simultaneously

·         Excellent written and communication skills

·         Demonstrated ability to  teach and mentor peers

·         Motivational skills to create team cohesiveness and to foster a
positive environment



*Education and Experience Required:*

·         BS in Information Sciences, a related discipline or equivalent
job experience

·         JD Edwards: 8+ years

·         SQL Development: 3-5 Years of SQL; Stored Procedures, Views,
Constraint Checks, and Indexes

·         Tools: 3+ Years of Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, Rally,
JIRA, JD Edwards Toolset, SharePoint

o    Conceptual, Design and Analysis Architecture, Design, and Governance:
3-6 Years of Design, Modeling, Data Flow Diagrams, Security (Database and
Web), and Governance

o    Methodology and Architecture: 2-5 Years of and Agile Development
Methodology
