Knowledge of advanced features of Oracle 11g and 12c. Prior experience in a fast paced high tech environment. Migration of large databases from one platform to another. Knowledge of SAN configurations, data loading, db security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning and backup and recovery. Solid skills in database performance tuning and optimizing poorly performing queries and stored procedures. *Top 5 Must Haves:* Should have 5+ yrs. experience. Must have upgraded Oracle 11g platforms to Oracle 12c Must be strong DBA-Development background, who could write strong scripting and pl/sql coding. Must be a team player and can communicate well with the teams with positive mindset. *Responsible:* Oracle database 11g/12c administration and support. Plan, coordinate and administer matters related to Oracle databases including definition, structure, documentation, upgrades, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. Maintain and support Real application cluster 11g/12c and Active Data Guard and streams other methods of Replication (Goldengate). Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools. Establish and maintain security integrity controls. Required Monitoring experience Oracle, Nagios, OEM Cloud control 12c. Translate logical to physical design, develop comprehensive DB architectures, implementation and upgrade plans and assist in definition of database standards, policies, and procedures. Create and manage large scale, highly available production databases under clustered environments. Responsible for data loading, security, capacity planning and backup and recovery. Support production databases in a high quality and dynamic environment. Responsible for solving SQL performance related issues and optimizing poorly performing queries and stored procedures. Strong Scripting-Ruby, Perl, Bash, Puppet, Salt, Python.
