*Job Description*
- The Application Program Lead will be responsible for understanding the
technical vision within development areas.
- The Application Program Lead will be responsible for implementing the
technical vision through active development, guidance, and mentoring of
project specific development teams.
- The Application Program Lead will also collaborate with business
subject matter experts, business analysts, Solution Architects and
development team members to implement a solution.
* Job Responsibilities*
- Leads technical project team
- Executes on deliverables within projects
- High level (Logical) design
- SA Reviews & ARB reviews
- Code reviews
- Work with the PM to assign project tasks to developers
- PoC implementations when applicable
- Project deployments and closure
- Leads and produces deliverables within projects
- Low level (Physical) design
- Detailed estimates
- Project-specific testing
- Participates in Unit testing & Integration Testing
- Supports QA Testing, UAT Testing & Load Testing
- Assures connection between requirements and detailed application
design can be tracked
- Takes an active, hands-on role in the implementation of software
- Works closely with Solution Architects to define project software
solutions
- Owns project documentation
*Secondary responsibilities will include: *
- Working in collaboration with Solution Architects on product evolution
- Assuring that all technical deliverables are consistent with
organizational standards
- Mentoring developers in new technologies and architectures
- Participating in production incidents
* Job Requirement*
- *Education:*
- Masters or equivalent industry experience
- *Experience:*
- 6+ years in the IT space and 5+ years in the specific technology
set they are recruited for.
- Enterprise Java-based systems and related tools & frameworks.
- High-performance, highly-available and scalable systems design
and implementation
- Service oriented architecture/reusable component driven design,
Object-oriented analysis and design, UML, Design patterns,
Refactoring
- Data modeling techniques and knowledge and applicability of
various normal forms
