Education: MS in Computer Science or equivalent. CSTE/CSQA certifications preferred. QTP/UFT or related automation tool Certification preferred. Experience: 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering Development with focus on Quality Assurance testing and Automation Testing. Has in-depth knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and methodologies. Experience in design and development of Automation frameworks and Automation Testing Strategies. Solid experience with automation frameworks/tools (Not limited to QTP, UFT and Selenium) and continuous integration systems. Expert level experience in one or more scripting languages and/or programming languages like VB, Perl, TCL and Python. Experience with web services and APIs and understanding of automated testing for web based API. Demonstrated expertise with XML and related tools and technologies. Good understanding of QA methodology – test plans, test cycles, and software releases. Solid understanding QA/Test Automation Best Practices. Strong Knowledge of current industry wide Quality & Test processes and practices, Tools and techniques. Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
