*Position : Solution Architecture Analyst* *Length: 1 year* *Location: Houston, TX* *Rate: $DOE/hr* *Description: The resource will work under the supervision of Shell's Solution Architect for Delivery Platform to gather data and provide content required for the development of a program-wide Solution Architecture High Level Design (SAHLD) document. As the Shell Solution Architect sets the vision and provides guidance on the content of the SAHLD, the Solution Architecture Analyst is tasked with the creation of the content of the deliverable. He/She will do so by leveraging information available from project documentation, interviews with the individual projects and sessions with the Solution Architect. The document will provide a high level view of the capabilities required by the program and what IT systems will be implemented to support them. The Solution Architecture Analyst will help define the logical and physical architectures as well as the interfaces required to link all systems to deliver the required benefits. This deliverable will be the reference model for all Delivery Platform projects when creating their SAHLD as part of the PDF Methodology stage gate sign-off requirements.* Skills: *Proven Technical Architecture, Solution Architecture experience. Must have worked on definition of architectures based on packaged and custom software as well as EAI, Middleware frameworks such as Tibco, BizTalk. Ability to think at a high level, strategically but go in enough detail to understand the specifics of each platform and challenges associated with integrating them*. *Responsibilities: The resource is expected to create the bulk of the SAHLD content at the program level and will work with each project to ensure all systems have been properly addressed and integration points clearly understood and covered.
