QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on professional experience and proven knowledge of network technologies including IP, Ethernet, TOM, SONET, ATM, Network Architecture and Fiber Optic communication systems. Including design of network systems and providing comprehensive system engineering and integration services, on a turnkey basis. Experience in wide area, local area, and remote access networks. Work experience in IP networks, TCP/IP, OSPF, STP, VLAN, Firewalls, LAN and WAN Circuits. Experience with Ethernet using various media including fiber optic and twisted pair copper. Work experience in EMS & NMS deployment & system integration. Familiar with the configuration of Cisco/Nortel switches, digital Channel Bank & ATM Switch. Experience in the use of network analysis tools. Ability to analyze and assess network architecture requirements and determine optimum, cost-effective solutions. Work experience in network provisioning. Familiar with digital dispatch console systems such as Motorola MCC7500 and PENTA systems. Able to develop and interpret topography, network design maps and CAD Designs Thorough knowledge of & experience in: Telcordia standards (GR1275, GR1089, GR63) Telecommunications product evaluation Software/Hardware integration of Voice and Data networks Systems Integration Engineering related to Voice and Data networks. Installation standards, Commissioning, Administration, Operation, Maintenance and Quality Assurance procedures. Product change notices procedures. Testing procedures for Voice and Data broadband and narrowband networks and services.
