Please find below the job details and let me know if you would be interested for this new opportunity. *Position: Commvault Engineer* *Location: Dallas, TX* *Duration: 6+ moths* *Job Description* · Admin providing 3rd level support, build and maintenance for the global *Backup* and Restore Platforms environment that includes HPDP, Tivoli TSM, Symantec Net*Backup*, *Commvault* Simpana. Responsible for technical shift services that include system installation, system management, support and triage of all global *Backup* and Restore Platforms systems. · Service Operations: Provide 3nd level server administrative support for all *Backup* servers. This support must be such that server availability will be maintained at 99% or better. · Support includes the following: · Insuring system hardware integrity through proactive measures · Updates of storage systems when required · Implementation of all upgrades and patches when required · Responsible for incident, and problem resolution of Service Now queues · Change Management: Ensure new solutions delivered by projects are fit for purpose in service and delivers the right solution to the business from a capability and cost perspective that are aligned to the AZ architecture roadmaps. · The role will ensure tight governance on proposed architecture changes, upgrades and process modifications. · Candidate Focus & Challenge Review the standard role profile and capture some brief headlines describing what will specifically be expected of this role over the next 12 months · Documentation: Work with suppliers to review and ensure Technical Reference materials are current and accurate for the service teams to provide a robust service.
