Scala resources : Require minimum 8 years of experience in that hands on person having at least 5+ years’ development experience with strong technical knowledge in Scala and Java. Strong development experience in Scala, Java, Slick, JDBC, JBOSS/Apache, JSON, XML Experience in liftweb and spray framework Should have documented Experience and reference letters , technically very sharp with at least 5 years’ experience Should be clear on Akka and Reactive Programming concepts and worked with Spray and Play web services. Experience developing REST based services using Scala Should preferably have contributions on any scala open source project or any demonstrable projects on github Should have worked with IntelliJeA with sbt as build tool. Should have experience in both Functional and Imperitive Style of Programming Should be a good communicator and inclination to share knowledge and teach Should be able to re-factor code given by developer to meet good functional standards Experience in using tools – SBT, Git, Stash, JIRA, Jenkins Need not have Domain knowledge in the Video space but would be a bonus if there is Should preferably have worked on DAL integration with Cassandra If any knowledge of Cassandra is there that will be a bonus Should be familiar with Git-Stash and Git-hub as Version control systems Should be able to develop, debug code, trouble shoot production issues & apply code fixes. Bonus if he has knowledge on Scalaz library ..used a lot by IPTV teams Should be familiar with Category Theory concepts Review code and unit-test application for reliability Ability to work with remote teams Although not really needed in Search ..it would be good if he has some high level knowledge of Kafka and Spark since those are core Big Data Technologies in IPTV shop knowledge on Elasti-Search it would be great as well.
